One-of-a-Kind is the best way to describe Poppy (that’s what the Abrahams affectionately called Mr. Riley). Ours was a connection grew from a neighbor to a family! Yes we were family. It was in the summer of 1990 when we moved with our new born baby girl, next door to Poopy and Mamma. It did not take much longer for 2 nationalities to become a family. The Riley’s were 2 unique people, specifically gifted and lovingly positioned on this earth by the Master. Time slipped, days passed, years faded and life ended. And what they were sent here to complete was done in its entirety, then the Master decided, its time to feast with Him.
Over 2 decades of fond memories, priceless encounters and the fine moments we spend together will linger with us forever. Words seen inadequate to express the heaviness we experience. We feel very special and privileged that we were with mamma during her last moments and now by Poppys side as he took his last breath.
Mary, Lynn, Keith and Barb, we pray that the love of God enfolds you during your journey through grief, may Gods peace bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories of your parents to hold in your heart forever.
