Obituary of Robert F. Subers

ROBERT F. SUBERS, 99 of Holmes Pa Passed away on October 30, 2013 at home. He was born in Philadelphia and spent most of his years in Delaware County and surrounding areas. He did reside in Pittsburg and Rhode Island for some of his married years. He graduated from West Catholic and also attended LaSalle University. He was a superintendent for REA Railway Express from where he retired. He enjoyed tennis, dancing, a good meal and a good party. He was the son of the late Robert Subers & Elizabeth (McLaughlin) . He was the oldest of 11 children. He leaves behind 4 wonderful siblings: Elizabeth Gloner, Rita Fachet, Pete Subers (Barbara) and Richard Subers. Predeceased by: Regina Subers, Cecilia Subers, Sonny Subers, Mary (Mame) Fachet, Buddy Subers & Peggy Keller. He also survived by his 5 beautiful children: Marianne Davis, Robert Subers, Cathy Gudelunas (Adam), Theresa Taylor (Daniel) & David Subers (Mary) and Tieng Subers 8 Grandchildren: Jeff Weber, Robyn Crandall, Gina Solmeto (Michael), Adam Gudelunas, David Alexander Subers, Patrick Subers, Kim Sterns (Brandon) & James Rogers 5 Great Grandchildren: Ashley Crandall, Danielle Butler (Tristan), Nicole Gudelunas/Carnahan, Bella Sterns & Levi Sterns.
