Obituary of Agnes L. Stegmuller

Agnes L. Stegmuller "Aggie" age 87 of Aldan passed away on April 25, 2010 at home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Glenolden. Ms. Stegmuller graduated Glen-Nor High School Class of 1941. She earned her bachelor's degree in physical education and biological science from Temple in 1945 and her master's degree in psychology and educational administration in 1948. She was an Adjunct Professor at Temple University.
She spent most of her professional life as a teacher, coach and administrator at John Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia; She was also a longtime referee.
Ms. Stegmuller served on various Temple University boards and was inducted into Glen-Nor, Delaware County; Pennsylvania; Temple University Halls of Fame and also Who's Who in America. In 2001, she received the Conwell Society Award, which recognizes Temple's most generous alumni and friends. A star dressing room in the Liacouras Center was named in her honor in 2000.

Memorial Service: Sat. May 15, 2010 at 11:30AM at Glenolden Congregational Church, 115 S. Scott Ave. Glenolden, PA 19036 and Sat. May 15, 2010 at 4PM at Temple Liacouras Center, The Fox Gittis Room, 1776 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA. 19122. Parking will be available at the Liacouras Center Garage.
