Obituary of Justine L. Voltz

Justine Lindsay Voltz, passed from this life and into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 25, 2013. Born on January 27, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA, to Joseph and Lottie Lindsay, she spent much of her life in Norwood and Glenolden before living out her final years at the Belvedere Nursing Home in Chester, PA. She was a long time secretary in the Interboro School District, and spent many years involved in the Cub Scouts, AFS-USA (hosting an exchange student from Belgium), and was very active in her church, First Baptist Church of Collingdale, PA where she had been a faithful member for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Berthold, who died in 1982. She is survived by her sons Wayne (Cindy) Voltz, of Stafford, VA and Don (Sally) Voltz of Claymont, DE, grandchildren Christopher (Ginger) Voltz of Waldorf, MD, and Andrea (Brandon) McKinney of Naples, FL, Matthew (Eileen) Voltz of Wilmington, DE, Michael (Ashleigh) Voltz of Exton, PA, and Laura Voltz of Claymont, DE, as well as four great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 31, at 9:30AM, at the McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike in Glenolden, followed by the funeral at 11 AM. Internment will be at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, in Broomall, PA In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Collingdale, 814 Andrews Ave., Collingdale, PA 19023.
