Alexander Balnis age 93 of Morton Passed away on July 22, 2013.
Alex was a highly decorated U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II. He retired as Captain from the Pennsylvania State Police and was a member of the Fraternal order of Police.
He enjoyed reading, painting and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his friends at the Schoolhouse Senior Center in Folsom.
Predeceased by his wife Jean Balnis
Survivors: Son Joseph (Karen) Pope and Grandson Ron Pope.
Graveside Service: Friday, 10AM at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery Springfield, PA.
(Please meet at front office chapel at 9:45AM.)
