Obituary of George C. Paylor

George C. Paylor age 72 of Collingdale formerly of Colwyn went on his eternal journey on July 11, 2013 at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.
George was a U.S Navy veteran serving during 1959-1965; he was a member of the Darby VFW.
He retired as Colwyn Borough Code Enforcer in 1991 and previously worked for the Colwyn Police Department and for the Quarter Masters at the Navy shipyard in Philadelphia.
George's life was dedicated to service; he was a life member of Darby Fire Company #1 and Darby Fire Company #2 and a member of Colwyn Fire Company where he served as Chief of Fire Police.
George was a avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles and enjoyed fishing, hunting. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years Mary Karen Paylor and his loving companion Donella Bozman of 13 years.
Survivors: two loving daughters Mary Karen (Eric Bobo) Paylor and Georgette Marie (James Cahill)Paylor.
Cherished grandchild Amanda Paylor and 7other grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: 11am on Saturday at St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale PA. 19023.
Viewing: 8:30-10:30am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, new location 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, Pa. 19036.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
