Obituary of Miriam M. Sullivan

Miriam M. Sullivan (nee Schlitte), 88, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2013 while with family. She was born in West Philadelphia, and was a long time resident of Aldan and Glenolden. Miriam was a devoted wife and mother who, after her children were grown, worked in Buten's paint store, and later became a successful Flea Market and Ebay entrepreneur. Miriam was well known for her creative and artistic abilities. She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Thomas J. Sullivan, her sister Julia Matthews and brother Paul Schlitte. Survivors: Loving mother of Valerie Molmer (John), Linda Sullivan (Kevin LaPergola), Julie Sullivan Sidoti (Michael), Mark (Andrea), Nile (Barbara) and Colleen Bannister (Frank). She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service: Sunday, June 16 at 1pm at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, new location 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036. Visitation: Sunday, 12 to 1pm at the funeral home. Private: Burial.
