Obituary of Albert C. Staehle

Albert C. Staehle "Al" age 77 of Aldan formerly of Collingdale passed away on May 28, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, Al was raised in the Meadows section of SW Philadelphia and attended John Bartram High School. He retired in 1990 from the Insulators, Local 14 Philadelphia. Al was involved with the Collingdale Athletic Club, several dart teams and senior softball leagues and traveled to many tournaments through out the United States. An avid golfer, Al also enjoyed fishing, the Phillies, the shore, winter trips to Florida, and mostly spending time with his family especially his Grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Martha Staehle, sister Martha, brothers Carl and George and grandchildren Marty and Cole. Survivors: Beloved wife of 58 years Pat Staehle, Loving children, Albert (Diane), Roni (Sam) Moore, Richard (Fianc Terry), Stephen (Andrea), Daniel (Maureen) and Michael. Grandfather of 14. Dear brother Bud Staehle and sisters Helen and Clara. Memorial Service: Monday, 11AM at St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale, PA. 19023. Visitation: 9-11AM at the church.
