Obituary of Betty D. Orner

Betty D. Orner (nee Miller) age 88 a longtime resident of Ridley Park passed away peacefully on May 19, 2013. Born in Glenolden, Betty was a graduate of GlenNor High School. Betty retired in 1988 from the housekeeping department at Prospect Park Nursing Home. She worked previously for Merch, Sharpe and Dohme Pharmaceutical Company and was a champion bowler for the company's bowling team. Predeceased by her husband John Orner and Brothers Robert and Arthur Miller Survivors: Loving mother of John (Betty) Orner, Leonard Orner, Betty (Bruce) Herman, Linda (Frank) Thacker, Dennis (Grace) Orner, Patti (Bill) Schwoyer, Margie(Tom Byrne and Steven (Rachael) Orner. Cherished grandmother of 24 and Great Grandmother of 13. Dear twin sister of Phyllis (Jack) Aikman and sister of Grace Colanzi and Richard Miller. Funeral Service: Thursday, 11AM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036. Viewing: Wednesday, 6-9PM and Thurs. 10-11AM both are held at the funeral home.
