Walter Blankley III, age 82 of Norwood passed away on December 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. A U.S. Air force Veteran served during the Korean War. Walter retired after 35 years from Scott Paper. He was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Morton.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan Blankley
Survivors: Loving children Walter "Chip" (Kathy) Blankley IV, Bob (Karen Warren) Blankley and Kathleen (Brian) Cheezum.
Cherished grandfather of Tracey Weaver, Bob, Brian and Craig Blankley, Kelly Cacciutti, Nicole and Brian Cheezum and Great Grandfather of Hailey, Madison, Ronnie, Natalie, Frankie, Bobby and Olivia
Dear brother of Emily (Edward) Dorrin, Elizabeth (Ray) Little and Edward (Pam) Blankley.
Funeral Service: Monday, 11AM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036.
Viewing: 10-11AM at the funeral home
Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
