Obituary of Dorothy A. Evans

Dorothy A. Evans, 81 of Folcroft passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 13, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Dorothy was born and raised in Prospect Park and for the past 57 years she has resided in Folcroft. She was a longtime bus driver for Southeast Delco School District and upon retirement she volunteered at Taylor Hospital. Her sparkling smile and kindness touched the hearts of everyone she met. Dorothy greatest enjoyment was family gatherings and attending all their sporting events. She was the family's number one fan. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Evans. Survivors: Devoted children, Sally (Vito) Valerio of Folcroft, Danny (Peggy Green) Evans of Norwood, Tammy (John Jr.) Scanlan of Sharon Hill, Suanne (Mark) Donkin of Ridley, G. Scott Evans of Norwood and Sandy (Butch) Pyle Garnet Valley. Cherished grandmother of 18 and Great Grandmother of 18. Loving Brother James H. Field.
