Obituary of William B. Hammond

William B. Hammond "Bill" age 48 of Downingtown formerly of Collingdale passed away suddenly on March 30, 2010 Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he graduated Howard Career Center High School in Delaware, Class of 1979. Mr. Hammond was an aviation mechanic in the U.S. Navy for 9 years. He received his certificate for Basic Engineering and Graphics from Delta College. He recently work for Fed Ex as a truck and delivery driver and previously for several other companies. He was an active part of his children's spiritual lives and a devoted member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Morton where he was active the church prison ministry. He previously enjoyed running track and field. He also enjoyed working on computers and cars, reading and spending time his family. Predeceased by his father William Hammond Beloved Husband of Dolores "Gina" Hammond of Downingtown Devoted father of Derrick Bell, Nashay Jackson Bell, William Hammond and Michael Hammond all of Downingtown. Loving Son of Allice Hammond of Wilmington DE. Loving brother of Ronnie Miller of Virginia and Venita Felix Hammonds of New York. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
