Obituary of Mildred Campanaro

Mildred Agnes (Millie) Campanaro passed away peacefully at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA on November 5, 2012 at the age of 87. Millie is predeceased by her husband Albert Campanaro, her three brothers, Sam, Fred and Dom and her parents, Anthony and Anna Giannascoli. Millie is lovingly remembered by her children Marieann (Mitchell) Baron of Langhorne, PA; Carl (Debbie) Campanaro of Denton, TX; Nancy (Michael) Feverston of Cincinnati, OH; and her grandchildren: Jennifer Baron, Rachel Grimm, Megan Baron; Chris Campanaro and Katie Moore; and Sara and Jana Feverston, as well as five great-grandchildren. Millie was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1924. She worked as a riveter at the Philadelphia Naval Yard and as a cashier at Penn Fruit grocery store. Millie loved cheering for the Phillies and Eagles, even when they lost, playing cards, crosswords and reading.
Mass of Christian burial: Monday, 11 AM at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood, PA 19074 with Fr. Sam Verruni officiating. Interment with Deacon Guy to follow at Holy Cross cemetery.
Visitation: Monday, 10-11AM in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 W. 34st Kansas City, MO. 64111 or Salvation Army, 701 N. Broad St. Phila. PA. 19123.
