Obituary of Robert Oslar

Robert Oslar, Sr. "Bob" age 66 of Essington formerly of SW Philadelphia passed away on June 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, he graduated John Bartram High School. Bob retired in 2009 from MAB Paints in Philadelphia where he worked as a filler. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving during the Vietnam War station in the medic unit. In 1960 he was a member of the Lydells which where able to produce an album and perform on the American Bandstand and Steel Pier. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan but he mostly enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Marie Oslar, brother John Oslar, and son in law Timothy Murray. Survivors: Beloved husband of Sandy Oslar, Loving father of Dawn (Wayne Gabe) Oslar-Murray and Robert (Tracy) Oslar, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Brooke, Scott, Timothy and Jimmy. Dear brother of James (Geri) Oslar and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Sat. at 1PM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S.
