Obituary of Richard P. Manapat

Richard P. Manapat "Dick" age 79 of Woodlyn passed away on May 31, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, he graduated West Catholic High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Korean War.
Dick retired in 1988 from the US. Postal Service as a supervisor at 30th and Market Sts., and previously worked for H&R Block preparing taxes. He was a member of Woodlyn Baptist Church and the American Legion (Harrisburg). An avid Phillies fan; he was also a generous man and will be dearly missed.

Survivors: Beloved husband of 57 years of Ruth Manapat
Loving father of Elizabeth (Gray) Given, Richard (Jeannie), Ronald, Robert and Todd (Michelle) Manapat. Grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 4, Dear brother of Rita Drew.
Memorial Service: Sat., at 11AM at Woodlyn Baptist Church, 1125 MacDade Blvd. Woodlyn, PA 19094.
Visitation: 10-11AM at the church.
Burial: Private
