Obituary of Leon V. Skalish

Leon V. Skalish Jr. age 61 a longtime resident of Glenolden passed away on April 25, 2012. A graduate of Interboro High School class of 1969, he also graduated Temple University class of 1973. Leon enjoyed working at the Seven Seas Pet Store that he owned and operated in Brookhaven for over 38 years. He was a kind, generous and compassionate man who enjoyed helping people. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many family and friends. Predeceased by his father Leon V. Skalish Sr. Survivors: Beloved husband of Michele Skalish (Nee Hickey), Cherished son of Cecelia Skalish Loving brother Gwen, David and Gail Skalish. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his adoring parrot Louie. Memorial Service: Sunday, 4PM at First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden 2 S.
