Obituary of Ruth A Stellfox-Miller

Ruth Anna Stellfox-Miller (Nee Showalter) age 87 died March 13, 2010, of Masonic Village of Elizabethtown formerly of Glenolden where she lived most of her life with her first husband George Stellfox. She worked as a cashier for over 25 years at Martels. In 2003, Ruth married Ray Miller and moved to Elizabethtown. She was active with the Eastern Star, Friendship Chapter #551 and Amaranth at Elizabethtown. She was a willing volunteer at the Masonic Village and she enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, knitting and needle crafts which she generously made and gave away. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Woodlyn Predeceased by her husbands George Stellfox and Ray Miller, 10 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors: Sons: Daniel (Louise) Stellfox of Chicora, PA. and the late George Stellfox. Cherished grandmother of Michael (April), Brianne and Dawn. Sister of Bert Showalter. Sister in law of Suzanne Stellfox and special friend Norma Taylor. Also survived by many numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, March 19 at 10AM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA. 19036. Viewing Thurs., 6-8PM at the funeral home. Burial Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
