Leona M. Strumky "Lee" (Nee Downs) age 75 of Secane passed away on March 2, 2012 surrounded by her family. Adoring wife of the late George Strumsky, loving mother of the late Leanne Salter, loving sister of the late Kathleen Blaine. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Downs. Lee graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls Class of 1954. She retired in 2006 from the Sharon Hill Police Dept where she was the Police Secretary. Lee enjoyed taking cruises, go to the beach and the mountains, casinos trips and she greatly enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a proud member of the over 25 Cruise Club and active with the COPS (Chief of Police secretaries) organization. She enjoyed being active and on the go, she will be missed dearly Survivors: Loving mother of Thomas Kelly, Jay (Colleen) Kelly and Brian (Rachelle) Kelly. Cherished grandmother of Justyn and Joshua Kelly, Thomas Kelly, Angela Doyle and Victoria Kelly and Special Great Grandmother of Kaylen. Loving sister of George "Buddy" (Pat) Downs. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass: Wed. at 10AM at St. George Church, Lamont Ave. Glenolden, PA.19036. Viewing: Tues. 6-9PM and Wed. 8:30-9:30AM both are being held at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, Pa. 19036. Burial: SS.
