Dorothy Rose Gorski Anderson of S.W. Phila. passed away on Feb. 22, 2012. Dorothy was a devoted parishioner of St. Barnabas Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Wm P. Roche Unit # 21 for over 50 years where she was a unit President and Phila. Council President, District President, Eastern Vice President, Dept Vice President, President Dept of Penn 92-93, National Executive Committee Women and held several National Chairman's. She was Past Chapter President and Past Dept President of the American Gold Star Mothers. A Chapeau Pass Salon 113 8/40. Past Master Artisan Assembly # 1 Past President Polish American Club pf SW Phila, member of VFW Auxiliary # 928. Predeceased by her husband Bernard W. Gorski, Sr., son Bernard W. Gorski Jr., Brother Vincent Gaskey, sister Jeannette Rissinger. Survivors: Husband, Edmond F. Anderson Sons, David R. Gorski of Colorado and Paul Gorski (Christine Feret) of Phila. Grandchildren, Paul (Lena), Kelsey, Jacob, Zachary, Nicholas and Christopher and there mother Kelly Kinslow. Great Grandchildren, Paul Bernard, Olivia and Dorothy Rose. Sister, Jeannie Zack of Shamokin and brother Robert Zack of Shamokin. Any many nieces and nephews Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. at 10AM at St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave. Phila, PA. 19142.
