Obituary of Christian Carl Hansen

Christian Carl Hansen, Jr. "Carl" age 77 of Harbeson, DE formerly of Delaware County passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 surrounded by his family after a long illness. Building was his life and especially carpentry. He was a member of Yeadon Fire Co. since the age of 16, Sharon Hill Fire Co. and Darby Fire Co. # 1. A Scout Master and Cub Master, he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and working on cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and building projects in their homes. He will be missed dearly. Predeceased by his daughter Carol Ann Hibberd. Survivors: Former wife and friend Irene Hansen Loving father of Rick (Ang) Hansen, Sandy (Tim) LaPorte, Chris (Denise) Hansen, Donna Gooner, Lisa Stewart and Bruce (Heidi) Hansen, Father in Law of Jay Hibberd, Brother in law of Donald Wagner. Cherished grandfather of 12, Great Grandfather of 9 and Uncle of 5 nephews and one niece. Memorial Service: A Celebration of Carl's life will be held on Sat., March 10, 2012 at 2PM at Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with Rev Harry Hughes officiating.
