Obituary of John E Barci

John E. Barci age 58 of Yeadon formerly of Philadelphia passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2024 at home. He is predeceased by his father Ernest J. Barci. Survivors: Loving son of Linda Barci, dear brother of Christina (Anthony) Schiavone, Daniel (Judy) Barci, Brian (Carol) Barci and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. John was a devoted employee as an IT Technician for LPG Industries for many years. He formerly worked for Wachovia Bank, First Union and The Northeast times. He used his culinary skills in his younger years working in the food industry. John was brilliant with solving any computer issues that would arise and was always willing to help everyone. He had a great love of food and could cook the most amazing gourmet meals. He had a great sense of humor and was always up for a good joke. He enjoyed gaming, playing chess, and pinochle. In his younger years he was athletic and could be found on the basket court on any given night. He loved camping with family and friends and could often be found pitching a tent or diving off the dam at Bass River State Park. He has left his mark on many hearts and will be missed dearly. Memorial Service: 10am on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 Visitation: 9-10am at the funeral home.
