Obituary of Charles W Buchan

Charles W. Buchan Jr., age 71 of Prospect Park passed away on July 27, 2024. A U.S. Marine Veteran, Charles served during Vietnam. He retired from Amtrak where he worked as a machinist and previously worked at Sun Ship and The Philadelphia Navel Yard. He enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren. Charles was a sociable person who could talk to anyone; he enjoyed listening to music especially the blues with a glass of wine. He is predeceased by wife Joyce Buchan, his siblings Bruce and Patricia, parents Charles and Patricia Buchan. Survivors: Loving father of Charles (Carley) Buchan, cherished pop-pop of Charles IV, Rylee, Abigail and Lucas, dear brother of Kathy (Dino) DiNardo, Gordon Buchan, brother in law of Janet (Terry) Harvey and Denise (Spurge) Saul, good friends George Fowler and Will Marrell, nieces, nephews and friends.
