Obituary of John J McDonough

John J. McDonough "Jack" age 69 of Collingdale passed away on December 27, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, Jack was a graduate of North Catholic High School. Jack was a former Council Member for Collingdale Borough, President of 4th of July Fireworks and coach for the Collingdale Athletic Assoc. He enjoyed crabbing and boating and was a member of the Riverside Yacht Club. He was also a member of the Elks. Jack took great pride in his work at Boeing where he worked on the CH-47 Chinook and V-22 Osprey, these were 2 helicopters that his sons and fellow service members in the military operated. Survivors: Loving father of John (Angela) McDonough III, Anthony McDonough and Evan McDonough, cherished grandpop of John IV and Brennan, dear brother of Doris (Fran) Dougherty, Patricia (Dan) Lannetti, Joe (Barb) Genay, Chris (Jen) Genay, Noel (Reuben) Ondarza, Linda (Jeff) Barber, Bobby(Nora) McDonough and David (Jill) McDonough and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Eddie Genay. Memorial Service: Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S.
