Obituary of Gerard J Boyle

Gerard J. Boyle age 66 a longtime resident of Collingdale passed away on December 20, 2023 surrounded by his family. Jerry was a Graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and Delaware County Community College. Jerry was a dedicated employee for Tozour Trane & Trane Technologies for over 20 years. Jerry was a Life member of The Collingdale Fire Company for over 30 years where he served as a Firefighter, Engineer, Chief Engineer, Fire Prevention Officer and as a member of the Board of Trustees. Jerry served on numerous committees over the years and always loved Volunteering at the fundraising events. He was able to serve along side his Sons Daniel and Michael for over 15 of those years. He was formerly a coach for the Collingdale Athletic Club and St. Joseph Collingdale where he coached Football and Track & Field. Jerry loved coaching the Youth and helped mold many great players and young men and women over the years. He loved running into and catching up with his old players, it brought him great joy. Above all of his accomplishments with his Volunteer Service and coaching. Jerry was a great family man. His love for his Wife, His sons and Grandkids was unwavering. He is predeceased by parents Gerard and Elizabeth Boyle. Survivors: Beloved husband of Donna M. Boyle, loving father of Jerry (Kelly), Danny(Whitney) and Michael (Gina), cherished grandfather of Quinn, Cameron and Riley, dear brother of Karen( Bill) Mulligan and Joanne (Rob) and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass: Thurs. Dec. 28, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave Collingdale PA 19023 Visitation: Wed. from 6-8pm at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 and Thurs. from 9:15-10:15am at the church.
