Aunt Cele was so very dear to us, now that My Mom (Vicky) and Dad (Chuck) are gone. I hope they are having a great summer party in heaven, just like we did as a family on the Jersey shore! Loved the crabs, boardwalk, and Uncle Joe and Aunt Cele loved to cruise whenever they got a chance. I know they are all looking down on us, free of loss and pain! I love you! Denise

Today I say goodbye to my second mother. Aunt Cele was my Mom’s sister and since Aunt Cele and Uncle Joe were never blessed with children, my sisters Chris and Denise and I became their kids. We always lived close to them in Florida and I have so many great memories of Aunt Cele like garage sales (she loved them!) and holidays and family get togethers. I had my daughter, Crystal, in my teens and Aunt Cele was like a grandmother to her and they spent so much time together like Crystal dressing up in Aunt Cele’s clothes and jewelry (because Aunt Cele had great taste and always found the best bargains)! I use to joke around with her that when my Mom and Aunt Cele went shopping (which they loved to do together) that they were all about what a great deal they got and it was more important than what they bought! So many good times and sad times as well and through them all, Aunt Cele was there for me and loved me and took care of me. I will always remember her and keep her in my thoughts and prayers. I know she is in heaven with my Mom and Dad and watching over all of her loved ones. I love you so much, Aunt Cele, and I was truly blessed to have you in my life. Always, Laura Lauch Saib

My Aunt Cele was like my second mother. My Mother Victoria aka Vicky was very close to her sister and we followed my Aunt Cele and Uncle Joe to Florida (many times). She is the reason I live in Florida. She wanted family with her and that is why she convinced my parents to move from Philadelphia to be close to her. Our families were very close and she always called me and my sisters “ her girls”.
We always lived close by and would see each other all the time and on every holiday. I have fond memories of her most Saturday mornings taking Old Betsy out ( what she liked to call her yellow Ford pinto) to go to garage sales. She liked to joke that Old Betsy drove her straight to them. She always made us laugh.
Another funny thing all of my cousins did including my sister Laura would joke every time she came over Hi Aunt Seal and they would flap their “flippers” and make seal noises. That always got a rise out of her. There are so many good memories and too many to recap.
She will always be in my thoughts and I loved her like a daughter. I know she will be looking after us and my Mom will be by her side. I love you Aunt Cele.
