Obituary of Claude J Curci

Claude (Claudio) J. Curci, 65, longtime resident of Collingdale, PA, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was the husband of Susan (Pyle) Curci. Born and raised in Italy, he was the son of the late John Curci and Domenica (Lia) Curci. Claudio was a devoted husband for 36 years, dedicated father and loving Nonno. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children: his daughter, Kimberly Curci; his son, Richard (Haley) Curci; and daughter, Kelly (Jeffrey) Chiarelli; his 7 grandchildren: Colton, Cora, Julianna, Jalyn, Mikaylah, Sloane and Nova (predeceased); along with his sister, Maria (Devin) Householder; his 3 brothers: Charles Robert (Clara) Curci, David (Janet) Curci, and Michael (Joyce) Curci, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. More than all else, Claudio enjoyed spending time with his family which included watching Philadelphia sports whenever possible and always ensuring everyone was very well fed. He particularly loved the holidays with his family. He was incredibly proud of his Italian heritage and enjoyed listening to Italian music. Claudio also enjoyed hobbies such as collecting sports memorabilia and fishing. He was the definition of a hard worker and an even prouder father. His devotion to his family was unmatched and he was always the first to crack a joke. His smile, laughter and story-telling will be missed by many. All services will be private.
