Charles G. Leahan "Chalie" age 65 a long time resident of Glenolden passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Chalie was a graduate of Bonner High School and then went on to attend trade schools. He worked for Penn Panel and Box Company for over 20 years and previously worked for the Philadelphia Navy Ship Yard.

Chalie enjoyed swimming, the casinos and playing cards. He also enjoyed trips to the shore where he enjoyed the beach with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his girls and his grandchildren.

Chalie was a remarkable person and he will be greatly missed

 

He is predeceased by his parents Christopher and Ann Leahan and niece Samantha Leahan.

Survivors: Beloved husband of 35 years of Marianne (nee Tobin) Leahan, loving father of Brittany, Amber and Brandy Leahan, devoted Poppy of Aubriella and Ayden, dear brother of Joseph( Anna), Marie( Bob) Erle, Bill (Germaine) Frank(Sue), Chris(Ceil), Paul and Theresa (Bob) Carberry, cherished brother in law to many in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Funeral Mass: 11am Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St Gabriel Church, 233 Mohawk Ave. Norwood PA 19074

 

Viewing: 7-9pm Monday, 6/19 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 and 9:45-10:45am Tues., 6/20 at St Gabriel Church, Norwood PA

 

Burial: St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
