Obituary of William G. Knoell

William G. Knoell, Jr., age 91 of Folcroft, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023.

A U.S. Navy Veteran, William served his country during the Korean War. He began his career at Westinghouse as a tool designer and worked there until he retired in 1986. He then worked for Minigraph. He was a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge #579, Masonic Breakfast Club, Order of Eastern Star Chapter #551 and Westinghouse Square Club. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Media #93 and St. John's Lutheran Church. William enjoyed watching hockey, spending time with his family, and family vacations in the Poconos.

He is predeceased by his wife Mary F. Knoell and parents William and Alice Knoell.

Survivors: Loving father of William (Diana) Knoell III, Robert (Diane) Knoell and Stephen (Susan) Knoell, cherished grandfather of Sharan (Ty), Geoffrey (Kristine), Robert (Danielle), Stephanie, Stephen, and Shane, and dear great grandfather of Cadence, Carter, Kayla, and Bryson.

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036.

Viewing: 10-11am with a Masonic Service starting at 10:45am at the funeral home.

Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
