Obituary of Catherine J. Powers

Catherine J. Powers "Cass" age 84 of Glen Mills formerly of Darby passed away on April 14, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, Catherine was a 1956 graduate of West Catholic for Girls and a 1959 graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing. She retired from Little Flowers Nursing Home where she worked for over 30 years. She also worked for East Lansdowne Elementary School following her retirement. An active woman, Catherine was a member of St John Fisher Senior Club, she enjoyed cruises, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Anna Mae Corcoran and her son baby Joseph Powers.

Survivors: Beloved wife of 61 years of Thomas Powers, loving mother of Colleen (Jay) Kelly, Kevin Powers and Brian (Chris) Powers , cherished Mimi of Justyn (Taryn), Joshua (Julia) and Tavi and great Mimi of Kaylen, dear sister in law of Catherine Powers, 7 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10:30am on Friday, April 21, 2023 at St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342

Viewing: 9-10:15am in the church

Burial: Calvary, Conshohocken PA,
