Delbert E. Heller age 88 of Colwyn passed away on Dec. 4, 2011. Delbert worked as an office manager for his son's family business GMH Mechanical and previously for United Carton Inc. Growing up Delbert was involved with the Boy Scouts in Chambersburg and in various other states. He was a Cub Master for Pack #123 in Darby, Pack #86 and Pack # 377 and Assistant Scout master for troop 86 and Assistant Cub Master for troop 515. He was a life member of the VWF Post #928, Herbert W. Best and the VFW District #7 where he was a proud Chaplin. An avid train enthusiast, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, building paper houses for his platform villages and flower gardening; he was an avid stamp collector. He also enjoyed the Phillies, Eagles, Penn State and MI University football. His favorite holiday is Christmas and his favorite food was mincemeat pies and homemade fruitcakes. Husband of the late Dorothy J. Heller. Brother of the late Dorothy Lotta, Margaret Smith, Francis W. Grimm and Robert Jenson. Son of the late Garnet and Nellie Heller and stepson of the late Michael Grimm. Survivors: Loving father of Patrick James Heller, Garnet Michael Heller, Cathrine E. Heller (Kochersperger) and Margaret Ann Heller (Katalinas). Cherished Grandfather of 2 and Great Grandfather of 1. Loving brother of Betty Brindle. Memorial Service: Sat. 8 PM at the Herbert W. Best, VFW Post #928, 1805 MacDade Blvd. Folsom, PA. 19033. Visitation: Sat. 7-9PM at the Post. Burial: Private Contributions: to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 S. Waverly Rd.
