Dan was a man of great character and pride, his love of our country was shown through his service to our country
Only knowing him a short time his humility and and kindness was always evident and I only wish I known him longer
His great character passed on to his son Chris whom I’m proud to call my son in law

Dan was the best cousin anybody could ever hope to have. In 1997 when he was in charge of the event staff at Veterans stadium. He and his crew personally came up to the 700 level and escorted me and my 10 year old son down to the field where we stood among the players, cheerleaders and big wigs. Then walked us around the field and eventually put us on the 50 yard line. We also had food and laughs back with the staff. He was a great guy and that memory will be with my son and I forever.

Q: What will you never forget about Daniel?
A: I will never forget the support he gave to me when I discovered my daughter had throat cancer. He was always there to talk to , helping me to get connected to doctors , telling me what questions and medication to ask about for her. He was a great support and a good friend as well as a good boss.

Dan, I still can’t believe you’re gone. I was so grateful to become a part of your family. Chris loved you immensely and was so proud to be your son. I was so looking forward to our “sleepovers” with Chris, Charles, and I making dinner in your kitchen while you taught us how to make your gravy. I only wish we had more time together, but I know you’re not suffering anymore. Thank you for welcoming me into your life as a daughter. I’m going to miss you big Dan. I love you.

I met Dan at PHL PAX F in 2010. Although I was only a TSO, he treated me with the utmost respect. Everyone was important to Dan. I transferred to PBI in 2011 and ran into him at FLETC in 2017. Even after all that time, he greeted me with his usual warmth and a huge hug. He was truly one of a kind. “May his memory be a blessing.”
