Obituary of Joseph A. Czabator
Joseph A. "Joe" Czabator of Springfield passed away on March 25, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Joe graduated from West Catholic High School in 1971 before going on to attend Temple University and Cabrini College. He briefly worked for the Fingerprint Identification Department of the FBI in Washington D.C. before starting his career. Joe spent his career of over 32 years working for United Parcel Service. After his retirement, his dedication to UPS continued as he worked as a Consultant, training drivers for UPS for an additional 10 years. He was funny, his sense of humor would draw you in and his laugh was infectious. He adored spending time with his family, especially at family barbeques and holidays. Joe enjoyed fishing, collecting trains, music, including playing the fiddle and guitar. Weekend trips to the cabin in Coburn, PA were his favorite.
He is predeceased by his parents Victor and Eleanor Czabator, brothers Victor and Francis Czabator, and grandson Luke J. Bryan.
Survivors: Beloved husband of Julia Czabator, loving father of Christa P. Bryan, Candice M. (Bill) Gavin, David (Jamie) Chmielowski, Melissa (Ryan) Freeman, and Matthew (Jackie) Chmielowski, cherished Pop of Billy, Toby, Josh, James, Hanna, Jack, Grace, Claire, Charlotte, Lana, and bonus Pop to Katie, Samara, and Johnny, dear brother of Leonard F. (Kathleen) Czabator, uncle of Lauren (Josh) Crean and Michael (Jess) Czabator, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he considered his second family at UPS.
Funeral Service: 11AM on Saturday, April 1, at Sacred Heart Church, 316 E Broadway Ave, Clifton Heights, PA
Viewing: 9-11AM on Saturday at the church.
Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
