Eleanor Sachs (nee Barberry) age 101 of Milmont Park passed away on Nov. 25, 2011 surrounded by her family. Eleanor previously worked for Bell Telephone and Rail Express Agency. A devoted parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church and a former parishioner of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church. She was an active member of Forever Young Seniors, St. Charles Borromeo Seniors, Collingdale Seniors Citizens and the Ridley YMCA. She enjoyed entertaining friends, playing bingo, casino trips and water walking. She just loved being out and about. Beloved daughter of the late Catherine and Charles Barberry, Devoted wife of the late John T. Friel and Rudy Sachs. Survivors: Loving mother of Colleen Sachs and also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: Wed. 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pk., Eddystone, PA. 19022. Viewing: Tues. 6-8PM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, Pa. 19036 and Wed. 9-9:45 at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Contributions: to the Pink Sisters at Convent of Divine Love, 2212 Green St. Phila.
