I didn't know Elliot or his family. I had a friend pass away and saw Elliot's photo on the Funeral Home's website. I had to pass on my condolences to his family. When I saw his photo my heart was touched with his smile and love for life. What a happy little child. What a joy he must of brought to your lives - he was such a blessing. I am truly sorry for your loss but so happy he had such a loving family to take care of him. You were blessed to have each other - even if it was just for a little while. Sending Love.

Memories of Elliott will always come with a smile along with the pain of loss. So many adjectives to describe this beautiful child. Shy, thoughtful, caring, intelligent and serious, but also rambunctious and adventurous. You were very much loved Elliott and you will be very much missed.

When Elliot was a baby, I remember Kristin telling me that I received one of his first smiles. And what a beautiful smile it was!

I will always remember Elliott as the sweet loving brother to his little sister and brother. I know he will always be with them, watching over them and keeping them safe. His sense of adventure and love for life will inspire all of us. Anytime I find a cool rock, I will think of him with a smile. He has touched all of our lives in some special way. Angels like him are a gift, priceless in our worldly lives. Rest in paradise Elliott!

Where do I even begin. I feel like we have had so many wonderful memories together. From swimming, to looking for frogs on the trial, riding in the barrel car, cabin weekends and gator rides, chasing after the neighbors lost sheep, riding bikes, and I could go on and on. Elliot was such a special and cherished little boy. Him and Rhett were best little buddies. I remember them at 2 years old, throwing stones in the air with their shovels at the cabin and we just couldn’t tell them no because of how much they were laughing and smiling. What little boys didn’t like getting into trouble together. He will be missed so incredibly much. We will never let Rhett and Harmony forget how much they adored him. We love you all so much!

Janet and I had the privilege of having Elliot in our Kids Church class at Calvary. Words are inadequate to express our grief, but the words of one of my favorite hymns expresses what Elliot is now experiencing with our Lord.
"The sure provisions of my God attend me all my days. O may Thy house be my abode, and all my work be praise. There would I find a settled rest, while others go and come. No more a stranger nor a guest, but like a child at home."

I had the privilege of knowing Elliot when I taught him in the library at Calvary Preschool last year. To see him flourish was truly wonderful, and even though he was trepidatious at the beginning of the year about school, by the end of the year, I saw him enter the library confidently, and joyously participate in the activities we did each week in our curriculum. What a truly wonderful, sweet, helpful, and kind little boy he was! He will be dearly missed. I am thankful that he made the decision to follow Christ, for one day I will see his sweet smile again. May the God of all comfort give you peace and unshakable hope in the midst of such overwhelming grief.
Praying for your family and mourning with you,
Alyssa Fuge Ocampo

I "met" Elliot today as I read my morning paper. His beautiful visage invited me to read his story. How profoundly sad to see that Elliot and I had something in common. I, too, have walked the brain tumor journey. Tears flowed for both of us. I recall the path and to this day, I am not sure how one manages to put one foot in front of the other. Then I recalled the young resident asking me, as I laid down on the surgical table, "Are you afraid?" Like Elliot, I told him that "I am in the hands of a good and gracious God." I knew that if I came to a high pinnacle and was asked to step forward that I would either land some place soft or I would instinctively know how to fly.
I was blessed by having someone share this brief historical prayer that I now share with you, "Lord don't move the mountain, just give me the strength to climb". It, at many times that seemed unbearable, was a great comfort. May it be so for you.
As we are fellow Lancaster Countians, I want to share this wisdom of The Amish: 'Love that is will always be, Even tho there is a sea, Parting love and life and all, For in the end that sea is small. All that was to be will be, And all that was to see we'll see, And all the roads that we do trod, Will be the ones that lead to God". Peace and prayer, Joy Smith Linton

I didn’t have the honor to meet Elliot, but I prayed for him from the beginning of his journey. His grandfather, Drew Alexander, who I have never met, has been praying for my son, who has stage four stomach cancer. . The power of those prayers has given me strength and courage in the midst of the hardest times.
We trust in God’s mercy and believe that Elliot is in heaven. Some of us get there sooner than others.
In the end, that is our ultimate hope and goal.
My prayers are for all Elliot’s loved ones. May they accept the comfort and consolation of Jesus and know that Elliot is with Him. Someday they will be with Elliot again for all eternity.

I had the pleasure of watching Elliot and his siblings from time to time at his house or mine and I will always remember his love of books, riding our play tractor, giving stomp rockets a blast, hitting a baseball so well!, climbing trees and overall the sweetest demeanor. He will be loved in our household always and is already so missed ❤️ Thank you, God for the gift of Elliot’s life and the time we spent with him.

Elliot loved construction vehicles. Once, while I was visiting I remember him reading a book to Addalyn. He was telling her what all the construction vehicles were. They were so cute!

Elliot was ONE of The First Neighborhood kiddos to MEET & GREET my dogs, BOGEY & BACALL, when we would take an afternoon walk! He was always engaged in some kind of outdoor adventure BUT always had time to pull away and visit with me and the pups for a few minutes! He was usually accompanied by his Siblings AND/OR Mom & Dad;; a testament to his devotion to his family! He was an AVID "STIRIDER" RIDER and an Inspiration to my 4 year old Granddaughter. because she saw him spinning around the neighborhood with such skill and ZIP! Consequently, she felt she could Learn to Ride too! THANK YOU Elliot for the inspiration! You are a Super Hero in my book! You will be Greatly missed BUT never forgotten and always LOVED!
