Paulie was loved by everyone in the Glenolden neighborhood in which we grew up in. He was a genius when it came to remembering our street addresses, the year(s) we lived in the Borough and information pertaining to trollies and trains. He will truly be missed. Rest in peace and condolences and prayers to the family.
Love,
Lauren Peters-Wright

Paul was an incredibly kind and gentle person. He will be sorely missed by all of our crew that grew up with him, and all that have met him since. I have very fond memories of Paul growing up and my kids even came to know him when they would visit Elmwood Ave and experience his barrage of questions and his photographic memory, especially for dates and trains! More recently, Paul has been one of our few consistent spectators at our annual Thanksgiving Football game. I like to think that he enjoyed the game and our company, but I think the ability to collect dozens of empty beer cans was also a big draw. I have included a picture from our 2021 game.
I am so sorry for your loss Allen, David and the rest of the Pease family. Paul was one of the good ones and you should be proud of the life you gave him and how he lived it.

Growing up in the same Glenolden neighborhood, Paul was the our keeper of facts, our historian and our glue that bound us as neighbors and friends. Whether his detailed knowledge of who lived in our houses before us or details about the train systems in our area, or just remembering each of our birthdays, Paul had an encyclopedic mind, and could, and did tell us about it. As adults he never failed to join his childhood friends at Norwood park on Thanksgiving for our yearly reunion football game. For over 30 years he always brought his knowledge but more importantly he always came with his kindness and interest in his childhood friends. We could all learn about friendship from Paul- keep showing up, remain interested and always be kind.
Every friend I have from the neighborhood is a better person thanks to Paul and the Pease family. Whether sharing their pool, fostering children, being role models of compassion and tolerance and certainly providing Paul a full life, we are all grateful for it and the wonderful gift of Paul Pease. My deepest condolences to Mr Pease, his son David and the Pease family. With much love-
