It is with great love and respect that we send our deepest sympathies to the Myers family. We had so many great times with Kim and Josh over the years and our hearts are truly broken. He always made us laugh. Truly. Josh fought his cancer battle hard and with dignity and grace and with his rock, Kim, at his side, every step of the way. I am sure the boys have been brave and strong throughout and we only hope that their pain eases over time. Josh loved and laughed enough for a lifetime. Sending love, strength and prayers. Sincerely, Rick and Cheryl Meister.

I have been friends with Josh since Elementary School. We were both around the same size with the same blonde hair. Josh's Fro was epic! We would play all the sports till either his mom or mine would yell for us to get in. He is a wonderful person, and I will miss him. I feel honored to know him and to have called him a friend. Sweet Dreams and Flying Machines Josh. All the love to his lovely wife, boys and his Parents. Delco Forever and Go Birds!

Josh❤️ he was one of my very first friends. My grandparents lived on 17th Avenue so when I was there you could find Josh and I playing wiffle ball or Intelevision video game ! He was also the best “egg toss” partner! We had fun together. I am so very sad we lost Josh. I feel blessed to have known him and to have had such a special bond. Sending so much love and strength to Kim, their 2 boys, Tom and Cec. Xoxo

Josh was one of my first friends when I moved to Prospect Park in 3rd grade. We were in class together every year 3rd-8th. I cherish the days of riding bikes up and down 17th avenue with our crew and having friendships that would grow into adulthood. Josh was the smallest kid in the class with the biggest heart and sense of humor only to grow and tower over me by 12th grade. I remember field trips to “wet and wild family water slide park”, MacDade Mall! Soooo many birthday parties, reunions, dances, classes and doing the robot at weddings, Josh was always happy and making people laugh.
Prospect Park Forever!

Josh was an adorable little guy with a head of blond curls & an irresistible smile when I had the pleasure of meeting him. He and his parents lived on 17th Avenue where my family grew up and he was a playmate to my niece Amy. What a loss. I am sending prayers & my heartfelt condolences to Tom, Cec, his wife Kim & his cherished sons. RIP sweet Josh.

I was 2 years behind Josh at Interboro, but I didn’t really get to know him until after I graduated college in 1999. I hung out with him and the other guys who rented the house on Lafayette, and there were always laughs when Josh was around. He also could talk about serious and tough stuff when you needed him to. I miss him already, and I’m so grateful that I got the chance to know him and have so many happy memories with him. Sending big hugs to Kim, Harper, Ben, and all Josh’s family and friends. He was one of a kind.

I met Josh on a ruckus pub tour to Ireland tens years ago along with Tom and 30 wild and crazy guys. .Josh was the junior member in the group but he fit in like an old shoe. He was smart, funny and a great enhancement to our entire crew . He will be missed by everyone who ever met him.
May God hold Josh in the palm of his hand and allow him to walk beside us every day un seen, un heard but always near. The grief of our loss may be with us for a long time, but the joy of our memories will stay forever.

I met Josh a few years ago when our sons played flag football together. I was the new guy then, Josh was one of the first people to make me feel comfortable. But these past few summers I have spent more time with Josh at RALL as our sons were again on the same team. Josh was always there to greet you, offer to help with anything, offer to share anything he had or even just sit and talk. He was always upbeat and positive. This summer will not be the same without you, but I will make sure they save a seat for you in the outfield. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to Kim, Ben and Harper and the whole Myers family. May you rest easy Josh.

Q: What 3 words best describe Joshua and why?
A: Fun… just a pure joy to be around and listen to. Always had a smile, joke, or some funny story to tell…
Family… he always dedicated himself to Harper, Benny, and Kim.
Life of the party… where Josh was, is where everyone wanted to be so they didn’t miss one of his stories
