Obituary of Margaret V. Staley

Margaret V. Staley (nee Severa) age 101 of Glenolden passed away on Nov. 21, 2011 surrounded by her family. Margaret worked as an LPN for St. Francis Nursing Home in Darby for 23 years before she retired. She was a active and devoted parishioner of St. George Catholic Church where she enjoyed making casseroles. She also was a member of Catholic Daughters, Court St. George and St. George Senior Citizens. She enjoyed cooking, go out eat and dancing. She had a priceless friendship with her daughter in law and she will be missed dearly. Predeceased by her Husband Norman Staley and her Sons Norman Staley Jr., and Thomas Forbes, Brother Anthony Severa and Sister Florence Bailey. Survivors: Devoted daughter in law and caregiver Joan "Shirley" Staley, Cherished Grandmother of Daniel Mitnick, Ronald (Kathleen) Mitnick, Norman III (Sue) Staley and Margaret (John) Libetti, Great Grandmother of Danny, Chrissy, Brian, Ronnie Jr., Sharon, Tara, Elyse, Norman IV and Dylan and Great Great Grandmother of Anthony, Chase, Layla and Danny.
