Obituary of Dolores L Price

Dolores L. Price, age 70 of Collingdale, formerly of Upper Darby, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022 surrounded by her family.

A graduate of West Chester University, Dolores went on to achieve her master's degree in social work from Bryn Mawr College. Dolores worked as a social worker for many years, most recently for Bayada Homecare in Media. She enjoyed knitting, paint by numbers, puzzles, and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the joys of her life. Most importantly, Dolores was a beautiful person who had a deep faith in the Lord.

Survivors: Beloved wife of Charles E. Price, loving mother of Michelle (Matthew) Gross, Raymond Taddeo, and Amanda (Travis) Taddeo, cherished grandmother of Alaina and Peter, dear sister of Theresa (Robert) Scaramuzza, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11AM on Weds. 9/28 at Aldan Union Church, 7 E Providence Rd, Aldan, PA

In lieu of flowers the family of Dolores Price asks for donations to be sent to the "Besos for Sebas" campaign. Three year old Sebastián is the grandson of Dolores' long time dear friend Kathy Natale. Sebastián was diagnosed with Myoepithelial Carcinoma (MEC), which metastasized to his lungs. MEC is a rare and aggressive cancer. The "Besos for Sebas" campaign ("besos" means "kisses" in Spanish) is a GoFundme campaign to help fund critical research for this rare cancer and to help cover medical and travel expenses for Sebas' treatment.
