James R. MacMullin Jr. age 86 a longtime resident of Drexel Hill passed away on Nov. 6, 2011 at home. He was a Chief Petty Officer serving in the US Navy as a Cryptographer during both WWII and Korean Wars. James retired in January of 1992 for the Teamster's Local 500. An avid Phillies and Eagles fan, he enjoyed working on cars, gardening and caring for his family. He was always willing to help others. Predeceased by his wife Malinda Vandergrift MacMullin and daughter Patricia L. MacMullin, Survivors: Loving father of James H. (Diane), Robert E. (Karen), Susan E. (Richard) Pulcher and Mary A. (John) Kelly. Brother of Eugene MacMullin, sister in laws Martha Bissell, Mary Jean (Wayne) Able and Lucy and Wannlie Vandergrift. Grandfather of Leila (Tom), James (Maureen), Raymond, Kristin(Tom), Dina, Matthew (Marissa) and Christopher (Jenn) Great Grandfather of Kyle, Shane, KC, Ashley, Tyler, Nicholas, Nathan, Josh, Aiden and another great grandson on the way. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Sat. 1:45PM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S.
