My deepest condolences to the family of Steve.
Steve and I taught together at Lehigh Valley Hospital Learning Institute. His wit and contagious laughter made the students relax and his demeanor let them know everything was possible. I will miss his laughter, smile and twinkle in his eyes.
We always talked about our grandchildren and of course the Eagles.
Losing him has left a huge, empty hole amongst all of us who worked with him.
There is a special angel watching us all.
Until we meet again Steve, wait for us at that EMS station in the sky and help the Eagles win!
Love to you all

Family of Steve Miller, our deepest condolences on this tremendous loss. Steve (and Claire Fisher) saved our son Joey's life in January 2020. They were the EMT's that came to his high school to shock his heart back to normal levels. We are FOREVER grateful to their skills and compassion that day. Soon after the event, Steve's supervisor contacted us to let us know that Steve had been thinking about Joey and was wondering how he was doing. We finally got together with Steve and Claire in November of 2021 (pic attached) - had lunch and shared the details of the day and the subsequent two weeks after the event while Joey was in the hospital at Hershey. We all learned so much, but most importantly we forged a lifelong bond. We will ALWAYS remember Steve to be one of the kindest men we'll ever know. We will ALWAYS know that Steve was sent to us to be Joey's angel on and off this earth. We will NEVER forget him. ~The Valenzo Family

To Steves Family and Friends: I met Steve as a paramedic. He was always learning something new and challenging himself, others or protocol. He cared more about others then he did himself, was a good patient advocate and always willing to push the limits in medicine. He supported me in Afghanistan, made sure the American flag I flew for Kent was displayed appropriately. He sent cheesesteaks and crab cakes, to Alaska when I was stationed in Fairbanks and so many other countless gestures. He always checked in to make sure I was doing ok. He cared and made a difference. I am truly thankful for his friendship. His “So I was on the unit the other day”, (proceeded by a crazy situation, call or treatment) phone calls will be missed with his friendship …
Steve: If by chance you run in to those Paramedic/EMS Gods up their give ‘em Hell, and few crazy ideas, ( perhaps a zebra 12 lead)… Till then keep us public service folks safe. (God knows you’ll need three jobs to do up their)....See ya on my last call…
