Obituary of Jessie C. MacNeil

Jessie Christine MacNeil (nee Anderson), age 87 of Sharon Hill, passed away peacefully at her home on February 15, 2022.
A graduate of Ridley High School, Jessie went on to attend the Philadelphia General Hospital Nursing Program where she became a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career she worked at many local hospitals and also as a substitute school nurse. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and crocheting, and was a brilliant pianist who shared her talents in the church and with other organizations. Jessie was a 50-year member of the Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church and she was also a member of the Eastern Star, Friendship Chapter.
She is predeceased by her husband Malcolm J MacNeil, and parents Andrew and Carolyn Anderson.
Survivors: Beloved mother of Carol Willard, John MacNeil, and Scott (Jackie) MacNeil, cherished grandmother of Charles (Jackie) Dougherty, Christina Dougherty, Michael Dougherty, Brittany MacNeil, Natalie Willard, Peter Willard, Kylie MacNeil, and Andrew MacNeil, dear great grandmother of Colin and Elizabeth Dougherty, sister of Andrew Anderson, William (Linda) Grimm and Arlene (Richard) Otley.
Viewing: 6-8pm on Thursday 2/24 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036
Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Jessie to the Bridge To Recovery Foundation, PO Box 548, Ridley Park PA 19078.
