Obituary of Philomena M Gresh

Philomena M. Gresh nee Palermo age 81 of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Philomena graduate from St Maria Goretti High School class of 1958.

In 1960 she married the love of her life Alexander Gresh and shortly then after she started her family.

A devoted homemaker, Philomena enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was a longtime parishioner of Stella Maris Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and previously was on the bowling team and volunteered in the library for St. Edmonds Church in Philadelphia.

She is predeceased by her husband Alexander Gresh, daughter Marie Foster, parents Louis and Antoinette Palermo and her brothers Dominic Palermo and Peter Palermo.

Survivors: Loving mother of Annette Panasiuk and Patty (Joe) Monaghan, cherished grandmother of Gabrielle, Michael Thomas, Nicole, Joseph, Christa, Sean and Victoria, great grandmother of Frankie, TJ, AJ, Erica Grace and Harper Rose and also her beloved dog Randi.

Funeral Mass: 10am Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Stella Maris Church, 2901 S 10th Ave Philadelphia PA 19148.

Viewing: 9-10am in the church

Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery
