Obituary of Karen Ann Thompson

Karen Ann Thompson, nee Murray, age 56 of Lansdowne, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2021.

A graduate of Upper Darby High School Class of 1983, Karen was a devoted homemaker. Her daughter and grandsons and all of her nieces and nephews brought light into her life and she enjoyed every minute spent with them.

She is predeceased by her parents Wilson and Dorothy Murray, brother Wilson Gregory Murray, and father in law John A. Thompson.

Survivors: Loving wife of Stephen Thompson, adoring mother of Aubrey (Jerry Harvey) Thompson, beloved grandmother of Xavier S. Harvey, Jerry G. Harvey, dear sister of Gail (Raymond) Palmer and Denise (Paul) Pidgeon, cherished daughter in law of Margaret Thompson, sister in law of Maureen Thompson, John (Carolyn) Thompson, Diane (Edward) Stanton, and Dan (Alicia) Thompson, as well as 11 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA. The family asks that everyone attending please wear masks.
