Obituary of George J Davis

George J. Davis, age 78 and a long-time resident of Norwood, passed away on November 7, 2021.

George graduated from Darby Colwyn High School, class of 1962 before going on to serve in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Lorraine, and was a devoted husband to her for nearly 50 years. A hardworking man, George worked for 32 years for the U.S. Postal Service before his retirement in 1999.

He is predeceased by his parents George and Laura Davis, and sister Judith Sweeney.

Survivors: Beloved husband of Lorraine Davis (nee Brink), loving father of George (Stephanie) Davis, cherished grandfather of Ryleigh, Greyson, Cooper, and Reaghan, dear brother of Joseph (Elizabeth) Davis, and 2 nieces.

Funeral Service: 11AM on Saturday 11/13, at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036.

Viewing: 10-11AM on Saturday prior to the service.

Burial: Private
