Obituary of Francis J. Aiello

Francis "Frank" J. Aiello Jr., age 75 of Aldan, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on July 28, 2021, surrounded by his family, after a valiant battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Vincenza Aiello and his brother-in-law James Carr. Survivors: Beloved husband of 49 years of Michele Aiello, loving father of Tina (Mark) Pupis, Lisa (Ronnie) Jaworsky, and Gina (Dennis) Kahn; cherished Pop-Pop of Mark, Jake, John, Sophia, and Nicholas; dear brother of Ann (Ed) Brennan and Theresa Carr; and cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Frank loved his Saturday night visits to Harrah's Philadelphia with Michele where they enjoyed the company of their "second family." He played many roles for his family, and truly was their anchor. He was a second set of wheels for his daughter Tina, whether it be running her errands or driving her kids to and from school. He was his daughter Lisa's shopping buddy during many trips to Delaware. He also enjoyed a good bloody Mary on the deck at the beach house with his daughter Gina. However, his favorite role of all was being Pop-Pop to his five grandchildren–doting on them and spoiling them with his kindness. He fought until the end to make sure his grandkids had their time at the beach house, where they have spent their summers for the past 17 years. We are so thankful for the incredible memories that will now live in our hearts forever. Funeral Mass: 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at St Eugene Church, 200 Oak Lane, Primos, PA 19018. Viewing: 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday at the church. Inurnment: WednesdayAugust 4, 11:00 am at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Please meet at the chapel in the front of the cemetery.
