Obituary of Sue Evangelist

Sue Evangelist (nee Palmieri), age 89 of Glenolden, formerly of SW Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends, and especially her grandchildren who she adored. She loved dancing with her husband, cooking, baking, reading, and Christmas. She always had a big smile on her face, and will be missed tremendously.

She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years Blase Evangelist, parents Michael and Anna Palmieri, and siblings Gerard, Albert, Louis, and Anthony Palmieri.

Survivors: Beloved mother of Anne Marie (the late James) Garvin, Rosanne (Thomas) LaBate, Carol (John) Mayberry, and Anthony (Kimberly) Evangelist, cherished grandmother of James Garvin, Susanne (Thomas) Hewitt, Miranda and Dana Labate, Alaina, John (Jennifer), and Shannon Mayberry, and Anthony Evangelist, and was soon to be a loving great grandmother. She is also survived by her many fur grand babies, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation: 10:30-11:30AM on Wednesday7/21 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home

Memorial Service: 11:30AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The memorial service will also be broadcast through Zoom, Join Zoom Meeting
