Obituary of Patricia Ann Scarboro

The incomparable Patricia Anne, 78, passed away on July 4, 2021 on hospice care at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. We know Pat had to go to God with fireworks, just to make Him smile. Pat grew up in Philadelphia and Sea Isle City and was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. Pat lived most of her adult life in Glenolden, Pennsylvania. She was a wonderful mother to Kelly and adored and enjoyed being with her granddaughter, Kylie Anne. She was a very kind and caring person, lit up the room with her smile and her laughter was infectious. Along with her adoration of her granddaughter, she enjoyed spending time with family and her very close friends. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Jerome and Isabelle McHale, and recently, her brothers, William McHale and Joseph McHale and her sister-in-law, Marlene McHale. Pat is survived by her husband, Robert Scarboro, daughter, Kelly Marie Scarboro (Rich Stefankiewicz) and her granddaughter, Kylie Anne, and her siblings, Jerome McHale (Barbara), Sister Marie Jerome, I.H.M., Michael McHale (Marlene), Marie Woyciechowski (Paul), Frederick McHale (James) and her sister-in-law, Mary McHale (William), and her many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and her cousins, the Hemple and Rademaker families, whom she loved, adored and was proud of all of their accomplishments. Pat's cousin Eileen Goodman was her twin cousin, particularly in their lively youth. Pat is also survived by her best friend, Michael T. Duffin and his son, Michael Duffin. In one last act of selflessness, Pat's wish was to donate her body to medical research. In her loving and joking manner, Pat always said to her family that she wanted her brain studied carefully. A life celebration is being planned for the future.
