Obituary of Michael J Marchesani

Michael J. Marchesani, of Portsmouth, VA.- And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.

Michael J. Marchesani, 65 passed away on April 22, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA., Michael was the first born child to his parents Angelo and Josephine (Cowchok) Marchesani. He married Colleen, the love of his life in 2011, who survives him. Michael is also survived by his children Laura, Michael Jr. (Kristen) and stepson Daniel, mother Josephine, brothers, Joseph (Lorraine), Paul (Maria), Angelo (Trish) and sister Maria (Effie)Concepcion, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many cousins. Michael is predeceased by his father Angelo, daughter Stephanie and nephew Dominic.

Michael was known for his love of scrapbooking and would spend hours in his spare time. Michael was also very proud of his career, 47 years for the Department of Defense as an Engineer Technician.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, 950 Michigan Ave., Swarthmore, PA. 19081

Visitation will be from 10-11am in the church.
