Helen was like a "big sister" to me when we were all on 56th Street. She was so very lovely. I remember the big brown eyes, ready smile and dimples in her cheeks. You know, Helen taught me how to "Jitterbug"! She was so very kind to me.
Helen was one of the loveliest women - a joy to all who knew her - and I am blessed to have known her. Someday, we will see her again and have all Eternity with her - she will be whole, in her "glorified body" as the Lord promises in His Word (us too!).
Love Him, with love,
Debbie

I am forever grateful for the time I was able to share with my Aunt Helen. Her spirit radiated loving kindness, humility, compassion, grace and warmth. My heart is with all of our family who are hurting right now in her absence. I am grateful she is at peace, and I have faith that her memory forever will remain a blessing for us all. Love you all. Love you, Aunt Helen.

Our deepest sympathies to Judy, Joyce and Buddy, as well as Carole, Frank and Ron. Helen, the cousin of my father, Bob McKay, was, to me, a positive, gentle and caring soul with a wonder sense of humor and great faith in God. Her spirit and "light" will be missed.
You are in our prayers that you find peace and strength in this difficult time of your lives.
Jean Ann McKay (daughter), Jean McKay (Mom), and Bill McKay (brother).

That's a beautiful picture, Janice! She must have been sitting on the steps in front of the Encyclopedia sets. Helen was a wonderful influence in our lives. My sister Judy and I slept in a double bed and Helen, the elder sister, slept in a single bed across from us. But, she didn't just go to sleep, she also told us stories with recurring characters that we came to know and love, especially a character she named Bobby.

I got to know and love Helen during our years at the Friday Women's Small Group at Manoa Community Church. What a lovely, gentle, compassionate, wise and loving lady she was! We were so blessed to have her in our lives! I am praying for comfort and peace for you all: dear Bud, Joyce and Steve, Judy and her husband, and Sharon and Tom. Helen's Christian faith shone before her like a bright light, and we all know she is resting now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Well done, good and faithful servant!
