Obituary of Lawrence V Gilchrist

Lawrence V. Gilchrist Jr. "Larry" age 70 of Glenolden passed away on January 25, 2021.

A graduate from Darby-Colwyn High School, Larry retired from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital where he worked for over 25 years.

He was a former member of Darby Fire Company #2 and Collingdale Fire Company #2 and was member of the Knight of Columbus.

He is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Elizabeth Gilchrist and his mother and father in law Francis and Dorothy Gowie.

Survivors: Beloved husband of 39 years of Marie Gilchrist, loving father of Ashley Gilchrist and 22 foster children, dear brother of Margaret Galli Gilchrist, brother in law of Mary (Denny) McCormick, William (Denise) Gowie Margaret (Jake) Williamson and Mark Gowie and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Funeral Mass: 11am Saturday at St George Church, Lamont Ave Glenolden, PA. 19036. Funeral Mass will be broadcast through Zoom Join Zoom Meeting
